Faculty of Psychology USU Receives Working Visit from the North Sumatra P3AKB Office to Discuss Strategic Collaboration Opportunities FPsi USU Public Relations Team – The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), received a working visit from the North Sumatra Provincial Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, and Family Planning (P3AKB) on Thursday (October 8, 2026). The meeting took place in the Meeting Room of Building C, Faculty of Psychology USU, with an agenda focused on discussing collaboration opportunities and joint program planning to support the development of both institutions. 09 October 2026

Faculty of Psychology USU and BTN Organize Student ID Card Collection for New Students of the 2026/2027 Academic Year FPsi USU Public Relations Team – The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), in collaboration with Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN), organized a Student Identity Card (KTM) collection activity for new students of the Faculty of Psychology for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. The activity was held at the Multipurpose Room of the Faculty of Psychology, USU, on Thursday (October 8, 2026). Approximately 300 new students from the Undergraduate Program in Psychology, the Psychology Professional Education Program, and the Master's Program in Science participated in the activity. 08 October 2026

Fostering Self-Acceptance: Faculty of Psychology USU Holds “Proud to Be Me” Psychoeducation Program at Rumah Peduli Yatim Orphanage in Pematangsiantar FPsi USU Public Relations Team – The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), conducted a community service activity in the form of a psychoeducation program entitled “Proud to Be Me” at Rumah Peduli Yatim Orphanage in Pematangsiantar on Tuesday (October 6, 2026). Led by Dr. Meutia Nauly, Psychologist, the community service activity aimed to foster self-confidence among children at the orphanage, particularly in dealing with feelings of inferiority or discomfort regarding their life circumstances. 07 October 2026

Poster Exhibition as Part of Midterm Examination, Undergraduate Program in Psychology Students Practice Disseminating Observation Results FPsi USU Public Relations Team – The Undergraduate Program in Psychology organized a poster exhibition as part of the Midterm Examination (UTS) for the Observation and Interview course at the Central Garden of the Faculty of Psychology, USU, on Monday (October 5, 2026). This activity served as a form of learning that encouraged students to develop their ability to process and present research findings systematically and communicatively. 06 October 2026

National Batik Day 2026: Preserving Cultural Heritage, Strengthening the Identity of the Younger Generation FPsi USU Public Relations Team – The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), also commemorates National Batik Day, which falls every October 2. This commemoration serves as a moment to reaffirm appreciation for batik as one of Indonesia's cultural heritages and as part of the nation's identity that needs to be preserved and passed on to future generations. 05 October 2026

Faculty of Psychology USU Lecturers Highlight Local Wisdom and Modernity in Understanding the Complexity of the Human Mind and Behavior through the Book Psychology and Culture FPsi USU Public Relations Team – Understanding human behavior cannot be separated from the cultural context surrounding it. This idea is one of the focuses of the book Psychology and Culture: Understanding Humans in the Context of Culture and Local Wisdom of North Sumatra, written by Faculty of Psychology USU lecturers, namely Prof. Dr. Dra. Strengthening Lecturer Performance, Faculty of Psychology USU Participates in SINTA Socialization and Synchronization Faculty of Psychology USU Public Relations Team – The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), was one of the faculties participating in the Roadshow for Socialization and Assistance in SINTA Account Synchronization for lecturers within Universitas Sumatera Utara. This activity was part of a series of roadshows held from September 29 to October 1, 2026, by the Directorate of Scientific Writing, Publication, and Publishing (DITP3I) USU. The Faculty of Psychology USU was scheduled for a visit from 13.30–14.30 WIB, held in the Multipurpose Room of the Faculty of Psychology USU on Tuesday (September 29, 2026). 30 September 2026
