The KTM collection activity was part of the administrative services provided to new students to fulfill their student identification needs while supporting their activities throughout their studies at Universitas Sumatera Utara. In addition to serving as an official student identity card, the KTM, which is integrated with BTN banking services, can also be used for financial transactions like an ATM card, subject to the features and terms of the applicable services. This facility provides convenience for students in conducting various banking transactions, such as cash withdrawals, balance inquiries, tuition fee payments, and other transactions supported by the available card features.

The organization of the KTM collection activity reflects the collaboration between the Faculty of Psychology USU and BTN in supporting students' needs, both in terms of student administration and access to banking services. The availability of this service is expected to help new students prepare for their academic activities and daily needs on campus.

This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through support for services that meet students' needs throughout their education. In addition, the collaboration between the Faculty of Psychology USU and BTN also supports SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through synergy between higher education institutions and the banking sector in providing beneficial services for students.

Through this activity, the Faculty of Psychology USU continues to strive to provide orderly and well-organized administrative services while fostering a conducive academic environment. The convenience of obtaining a KTM and accessing banking services is expected to support the needs of new students from the beginning of their academic journey.
