The development of indigenous psychology, the link between culture and behavior. Local customs influence people's behavior, be it school upbringing, work organization, or social organization.

Tropical Science and Medicine: Mental Health, Health Psychology (addiction, HIV/AIDS, Drugs), Gerontology, Psychotherapy (preventive, promotional, and basic counseling activities), and Interprofessional Education and Collaboration.

Local Wisdom: Topics in Positive Psychology, Transpersonal Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Religiousness, and Marital Issues (culturally based).

Intended Learning Outcomes

Students of the Undergraduate Program in Psychology are expected to be:

Capable of compiling reports on the results of interviews, observations, and psychological tests that are permitted in accordance with the principles of psychodiagnostic and the Indonesian Psychological Code of Ethics.

Capable of developing psychological measurement tools based on psychological concepts and theories based on classical and modern test theory principles.

Capable of undertaking non-clinical problem-solving/interventions for individual and group behaviour change using counselling, psychoeducation, training, and other authorized intervention techniques based on theoretical concepts of psychology and the Indonesian Psychology Code of Ethics.

Capable of undertaking innovative and collaborative psychology research with global competitiveness while still considering local knowledge using quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.

Capable of reporting the results of psychological research in the form of scientific writing in accordance with ethical rules and professionalism.

Capable of utilizing technology in assessment, measurement, psychological intervention, as well as research and communication of research results.
