The activity, which was part of a series of initiatives to promote understanding and implementation of sustainable learning programs, was held in the Meeting Room of Building C, Faculty of Psychology, USU. During the presentation, the Directorate of Educational Development, USU, introduced various aspects of the SDGs relevant to the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education. The introduction is expected to encourage the academic community to gain a deeper understanding of the contribution of higher education institutions to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

In addition to the SDGs, the Directorate of Educational Development also explained the Learning Program Outside the Study Program (PLPS) for the Odd Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year. This program provides students with opportunities to broaden their learning experiences through learning outside their study programs, thereby supporting the development of students’ competencies, knowledge, and academic experience. This activity is in line with SDG 4, Quality Education, through efforts to support the development of knowledge and individual readiness to continue learning and growing.

For students of the Faculty of Psychology, USU, the PLPS provides an opportunity to gain more diverse learning experiences. Cross-disciplinary learning is also expected to enrich students’ perspectives in understanding psychological issues related to various disciplines and the dynamics of society.

The activity took place in an interactive atmosphere through presentations and discussions between the Directorate of Educational Development, USU, and the Faculty of Psychology, USU. The interaction provided an opportunity to convey information while addressing various matters related to the implementation of the program.

The Faculty of Psychology, USU, welcomed this socialization visit as part of its efforts to support the development of learning quality and provide students with broader access to information. The socialization activity concluded with the hope that synergy between the Faculty of Psychology, USU, and the Directorate of Educational Development, USU, can continue to be strengthened in supporting the creation of an adaptive, collaborative, and sustainable development-oriented education process.
