On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, the Sports, Interests, and Talents Department (OMB) of PEMA, Faculty of Psychology, USU, held the "Agustusan Competition." This competition was held to enliven the 77th Indonesian Independence Day and to enhance togetherness among all academic communities after being hindered by the pandemic. Students, alumni, staff, and lecturers from the Faculty of Psychology USU participated in this activity. The Agustusan Competition occurred from 09.30 WIB – 16.00 WIB at the SSC Field of the Faculty of Psychology USU. There were 12 types of competitions held, ranging from cracker eating, tug of war, futsal with sarongs, and many other exciting competitions. Of course, all parties had an equal opportunity to play and win with their respective teams. Not only competitions but there was also an angkringan (traditional food stall) from the Student Business Unit Department (UUM) of the Faculty of Psychology USU selling various foods and drinks for the participants attending this activity. The Agustusan Competition ran smoothly and was filled with enthusiasm from the participants. Gathering and laughing with the entire academic community in celebrating Indonesian Independence Day was a valuable opportunity for the participants who attended. The activity ended with distributing prizes to the teams who won the competitions. We thank all participants who attended to enliven the Agustusan Competition from the Sports, Interests, and Talents Department of PEMA, Faculty of Psychology, USU. Hopefully, this activity can provide good memories and can develop better in the future.
