On February 17, 2022, the Chancellor of the University of North Sumatra Dr. Murianto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si who was accompanied by Vice Chancellor V Ir. Luhut Sihombing, MP and University Secretary Prof. Dr. dr. Fidel Ganis Siregar, M. Ked (OG), Sp.OG (K) inaugurated the SkyCross building which connects Buildings A and B of the Faculty of Psychology, the construction phase has been completed, the inauguration ceremony was opened by the Head of Public Relations and Protocol, University of North Sumatra Amalia Meutia, S.Psi ., M.Psi.

Psiakrab is an activity organized by the Student Welfare Department of the Student Administration of the Faculty of Psychology, University of North Sumatra, and has been held annually since 2019. This activity is a familiarity event that is a place to build friendships between students and the academic community of the Faculty of Psychology, regardless of generation and age. After undergoing the COVID-19 pandemic for approximately two years, the event entitled "Psiakrab 2.0: Glad We Meet Again" is the most awaited offline activity. This event was held at Avross Park, February 12, 2022, and managed to attract the attention of 275 audiences from lecturers, employees, and students of the 2018 class, 2019, 2020, 2021, as well as alumni. Psiakrab 2.0 starts in the afternoon at 15.00 WIB, and is decorated with various performances from each generation. A bazaar that sells various kinds of food and drinks is also standing at this event.
